RAID Plans for Demonstrations of New Product Releases at SC09 |

RAID Incorporated has announced that they will be participating in both SCinet and Xnet demonstrations to showcase the latest in next-generation high-performance technologies. In addition, Intel's new Nehalem EX CPUs for the HPC market will be on display. RAID will also be launching a series of new products and technologies at the SuperComputing 2009 conference in Portland, Oregon, including: -- Xanadu 200 Series -- Xanadu 210, Mid-range storage solution scalable to 132 SAS / SATA drives -- Xanadu 220, Enterprise solution scalable to 1,000 drives of SSD, SAS, FC, or SATA -- Xanadu 230, World's largest monolithic storage solution scalable to over 2,700 drives
-- Performance demonstrations in Lustre using QDR InfiniBand with the new Xanadu 220 monolithic storage solution capable of scaling to 1,000 drives powered by (4) Intel quad-core CPUs.
-- Cost-effective InfiniBand storage solution that scales to 720TB of capacity with 1TB of cache in a 42U rack starting at $0.50 per GB.
-- High-density self-contained compute cluster with 128 Nehalem CPUs in a 42U rack that eliminates hot spots in the data center.
-- Parallel file system demonstrations utilizing Gluster and StorNext with RAID's Xanadu 110 storage solution.
