Bright Computing Wins Intel Cluster Ready “Pathfinder” Award

Bright Computing announced it has won the Intel Cluster Ready Pathfinder Award. Recognized at the annual Intel Cluster Ready Partner Appreciation Breakfast held during the Supercomputing ’12 conference, Bright earned the honor based on the company’s contributions to the advancement of high performance computing (HPC). History, proximity and serendipity make Kendall Square fertile ground for the next big idea.On Monday, on the western edge of the MIT campus, representatives of MIT and Pfizer Inc., along with elected officials, participated in a groundbreaking ceremony around what will become a 180,000-square-foot research hub for Pfizer’s Neuroscience Research Unit and its Cardiovascular, Metabolic, and Endocrine Diseases Research Unit. Gateway University Research Park to Open New Facility for the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering

North Carolina Governor Bev Perdue to Present Keynote Address Construction recently wrapped up for a second research facility at Gateway University Research Park's South Campus (Gateway) with completion of a 105,000-square-foot building that will house the Joint School of Nanoscience and Nanoengineering (JSNN). The JSNN is a collaboration between North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NCA&T) and The University of North Carolina at Greensboro (UNCG). This newest two-story research facility will feature extensive labs, a clean room, a 3-D visualization suite, and a large suite of high-tech tools including a Carl Zeiss SMT Orion Helium Ion microscope - the only one of its kind in the Southeastern United States.
