Aspen Systems Releases ABC 4.0 Software

Aspen Systems, Inc., a world leader in the custom design, manufacture and service of a wide array of Linux-based high-performance computing solutions, announced today the release of version 4.0 for their turnkey, browser-based software management system, Aspen Beowulf Cluster (ABC) Management Software. ABC 4.0 is built on the foundation of the currently successful ABC 3.0. Aspen Systems has expanded ABC 4.0 to include the following capabilities: * IPMI support * New Cluster Monitor Display * Remote Terminal feature ABC has been extensively rewritten to improve performance. The majority of this work has gone into a new configuration database system, which employs an XML-based "registry" system, rather than the SQL database and object-relational mapping system in previous versions of ABC Stated Steve Spring, CEO of Aspen Systems.
