Executive Director Ohio Supercomputer Center

Job Description: Reporting to the OSC Governing Board, the Executive Director will be responsible for leading the computer-networking and high-performance computing services, primarily for higher education in the state. He/She will serve as the technology leader for higher education in terms of research computing and networking. Requirements: A Ph.D. in a science, engineering, mathematics, medical, or computer science field is required. Candidates must have visionary and innovative skills regarding technology directions and be able to unite various stakeholders across the state in common directions as well as direct a personal research group. A candidate with an active research program in the high-performance networking or computational science area, intending to continue to make contributions to fundamental research, is strongly preferred. It is anticipated that the candidate will be appointed to a tenured position at an Ohio University.
