Booz Allen Hamilton Awarded Defense Contract
Booz Allen Hamilton has announced that it is one of nine companies that have been awarded part of a new five-year, $2 billion, multiple award, prime contract from the Defense Technical Information Center (DTIC) to provide Software, Networks, Information, Modeling and Simulation (SNIM) support.
The DTIC SNIM award combines the contracting areas of three DTIC Information Analysis Centers (IACs): Information Assurance Technology Analysis Center (IATAC); Data and Analysis Center for Software Analysis (DACS); and Modeling and Simulation Analysis Center (MSIAC). These centers provide real research and development solutions, analysis, and assistance for the Department of Defense, government, industry, and academia.
"This contract enables Booz Allen to continue its successful 35-year relationship with DTIC, the IAC Program Management Office, and the IAC community," said Booz Allen Senior Vice President Robert Lamb. "We bring together an impressive team of industry and academic partners to continue and strengthen our commitment to the DTIC's IAC program."
